Development operations
We have an EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) approval as a Part 21J design organisation, which authorises us to carry out a wide range of tasks in connection with the approval of aircraft and aviation components.
The activities covered by this authorisation include
- Complete type certifications of aircraft:
We accompany and carry out the entire process for the certification of an aircraft type. This includes the development, design and provision of all necessary tests and evidence to obtain type certification for a new aircraft. - Supplementary type certificates (STCs):
We develop supplemental type certificates for already certified aircraft. These approvals relate to modifications, changes or improvements made to an existing aircraft type. - Component modifications:
We can develop and authorise changes and adaptations to certain aircraft components. This may, for example, involve the replacement or modification of individual components or systems.
Our service portfolio also includes:
- Design: Development and design of components and systems in accordance with the applicable regulations.
- Prototype construction: Design and manufacture of prototypes to test and validate the design solutions.
- Mould making: Manufacture of moulds required for the production of aircraft components.
- EASA-certified tests: Carrying out tests to demonstrate the airworthiness and safety of aircraft and components
- Support for already authorised products/aircraft: Type support for already EASA-certified products/aircraft.
These competences make us a comprehensive partner for the development and certification of aircraft and aviation components in accordance with EASA requirements.
