ASW-27
Safety is the top priority. A drive that generates minimal resistance when extended and therefore does not significantly impair the glide ratio - unlike conventional propellers - will always get you home safely, even on long flights or in tough competition. In addition, our systems are characterised by intuitive and simple operation as well as outstanding climb and straight flight performance. Another advantage is the low specific power-to-weight ratio. The balance between climb performance and fast cruise flight is optimised in our turbine.
Our aim is to integrate this concept into as many aircraft types as possible.
Technical Data
- Installation of MD-TJ42, a turbine system that has been tried and tested several times (manufactured entirely by M&D Flugzeugbau)
- Fuel volume up to approx. 25 litres in the fuselage tank
- Optional extra 20 litres per wing (currently under review)
- Automatic and servo-operated engine flaps
- Automatisches Be- und Enttanken
- Fire tap control no longer directly required by the pilot
- Access to the inside of the fuselage through the engine box
- Integration of new turbine control unit ‘ECU-V3’ (Engine Control Unit -V3)
