Manufacturing company
We are certified by the EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) as a Part 21G manufacturing organisation. This authorises us to carry out a wide range of tasks in the field of aircraft and aviation component manufacturing. The most important activities covered by this authorisation include:
- Production of complete aeroplanes: We manufacture complete aircraft in accordance with the applicable EASA regulations. This includes all steps of production, assembly and quality control that are necessary to deliver an airworthy and certified aircraft.
- Production of individual components: We are able to manufacture specific components and parts for aircraft as individual items or in small and large series. We manufacture these components in accordance with certification requirements and fulfil the high standards of the aviation industry.
- Certificates of Release to Service (EASA Form 1 & Form 52): After production, we issue a release certificate for all manufactured components and aircraft. This certificate confirms that the parts or aircraft produced meet EASA requirements and are properly certified to be put into operation.
- Prototype construction: In addition to series production, we also offer the construction of prototypes. These prototypes are usually developed to test and validate new designs, technologies or systems before they go into series production.
EASA approval as a Part 21G production organisation confirms that M&D Flugzeugbau complies with the required quality and safety standards and authorises the company to market its products with the corresponding EASA certification.
